JL Modular specializes in permanent modular building projects throughout California. Our permanent modular construction includes modular schools, classrooms, commercial modular buildings, and medical institutions. Our panelized systems for floors, walls, and roofs can be made to your exact specifications, without limitations to size or height. Nine years after starting JL Construction, JL Modular was started in late 2014 with its first factory, a 45,000-square-foot facility in the former Standard Structures property north of Santa Rosa. The division makes modular and prefabricated structures for the division's projects as well as for jobs underway by JLC and JL Builders. Two notable projects this year were Santa Rosa multifamily complexes with units built in JL Modular's factory: 30-unit Ortiz Plaza Family, a development for farmworkers, and 20-unit Magnolia Place Apartments.
