Entekra is a design, engineering, and manufacturing construction company based in Ireland, with operations in California*. Entekra provides a Fully Integrated Off-Site Solution® (known as FIOSS®) for both residential and commercial construction applications; FIOSS® combines software, engineering, technology, and construction methods to automate and lessen the costs associated with off-site construction.

Founded in 2015 and led by Gerry McCaughey, a recipient of the Ernst and Young “Industry Entrepreneur of the Year” award and the founder of Ireland-based Century Homes, which prior to its 2005 sale, was known in Europe as one of the pioneers of off-site construction. Entekra’s team has nearly 175,000 structures assembled worldwide to its credit.

Based in Ireland, Entekra opened their first U.S. factory in 2019 in Modesto, CA with a tax credit from the State of California. They plan to produce 3,000 homes a year from the factory within two years. They have plans to open a second factory in Southern California.
