Z Modular (or "Z Mod") is a one-stop shop for modular construction products, and services. Z Modular helps construction companies, building owners, and developers build bigger and better than ever before, with exceptional time and capital savings. Z Modular is a division of Zekelman Industries (the largest independent steel pipe and tube manufacturer in North America, based in Chicago, IL), which launched the Z Mod division in July 2019 when opening the first manufacturing facility in Chandler, Arizona. Recent projects range from multifamily residential developments in Washington, D.C., and a hotel in Nashville to an office building in California, apartments in Texas and student housing in Ontario. Z Mods are built using modular metal frames and delivered to the site 95 percent complete, from one of their seven manufacturing facilities:
- 2 in Chandler, AZ;
- Killeen, Texas;
- Chicago, IL;
- Birmingham, Alabama;
- 2 in Ontario (Kitchener and Toronto)
