HomeAid Los Angeles

X

HomeAid is a nonprofit provider of charitable housing resources for constructing homeless shelters in the United States, with over 19 chapters nationwide. HomeAid was founded in 1989 by The Building Industry Association of Southern California (BIASC), an affiliate of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).

Through the generosity of HomeAid’s network of builders, trade partners, financial institutions, and the public, HomeAid has built more than 550 shelter projects valued at more than $230 million, of which nearly 50 percent was donated in-kind by the building industry.

Los Angeles Chapter

Since founding the local HomeAid Los Angeles chapter in 2016, HomeAid’s volunteer construction crews have helped construct 72 beds for homeless service providers in LA County.
