Housing on Merit (“HOM”) is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit affordable housing development partner with 10,000 units across 49 properties. HOM partners with investors and developers on bond-financed and government-supported multifamily housing projects, providing investors with property tax abatements and tax credit compliance services, in addition to supportive resident services and enrichment programs to over 20,000 residents. Housing on Merit’s resident services include financial education workshops,  employment training, after-school programs and tutoring for youth, and ongoing programming focused on health, wellness, and empowerment.

HOM’s Board of Directors seed-funded the launch of The Housing Innovation Collaborative in 2019, in addition to supporting the global research platform’s continued development and growth in the years since its launch.
