Symbium’s applications make the zoning and planning regulations that shape our cities and towns easy to navigate, empowering anyone to quickly assess what’s possible on a piece of property or across a jurisdiction. Their platform translates complex laws and regulations into computer code (known as “complaw”), and then presents that code as an intuitive, beautiful interface. Their mission is to empower homeowners and planners to deal with the regulatory aspects of residential construction. Thinking bigger picture in scaling new tech solutions in the housing eco-system, how do we go beyond simple workflow solutions at the city-level to grander tech solutions that reinvent how we visualize, zone, and approve the home building process altogether?
