The Southern California Association of Non Profit Housing (or “SCANPH”) is a membership industry association, founded in 1985 to support and advocate for those who develop and sustainably operate affordable housing in the Southern California region. SCANPH serves as the voice for Southern California nonprofit developers and its service providers at the local, state, and federal level.

SCANPH membership includes 1,500 organizational-based members and more than 4,000 affiliated constituents/individuals tapped into their on-going communications, advocacy efforts, event platforms, and policy goals. In the last year (2019 report), SCANPH issued 39 comment and/or support letters for policies that push the affordable housing industry forward, visited 27 legislative offices, and helped foster countless new collaborations among industry partners, all in an effort to help build more affordable housing in the region.
