In 2019, the Wells Fargo Foundation donated $444 million into 11,000 nonprofits and pledged $1 billion to support affordable housing initiatives through 2025 (link). As part of that pledge, Wells Fargo donated $20 million towards the national competition for innovative and scalable housing affordability solutions, known as The Housing Affordability Breakthrough Challenge, in partnership with affordable housing nonprofit Enterprise Community Partners.
