As the world’s fourth-largest bank by market capitalization (over $133 billion) and the fourth largest bank in the US by total assets (totaling $1.9 trillion), Wells Fargo & Co. serves one in three households in the United States. Highlighted Housing Innovation:
In 2019, the Wells Fargo Foundation donated $444 million into 11,000 nonprofits and pledged $1 billion to support affordable housing initiatives through 2025 (link). As part of that pledge, Wells Fargo donated $20 million towards the national competition for innovative and scalable housing affordability solutions, known as The Housing Affordability Breakthrough Challenge, in partnership with affordable housing nonprofit Enterprise Community Partners. In the first of three application rounds, less than 5% of the 885 applications were selected to move forward. Learn more about the Challenge here.
