11-Story Tower by Broad Building Systems
B-core modular technology for accelerated high-rise construction
Based in Hunan Province of China, Broad Building System has recently completed over 60 high rise projects across China and South Korea. Several of their latest high-rise projects have used Broad’s latest generation “B-core” modular framing and flooring stainless steel building material – a lower cost version of NASA’s honeycomb stainless steel used for space shuttles, using two stainless steel plates sandwiched with thin tubes. Lightweight and durable, the B-core plates can be assembled rapidly on-site, greatly accelerating high rise development. The 11-story “Garden A #1 Model Tower” – built with a new module design to fit on trucks and into shipping containers for long-range transportability – is currently showcased in Broad Group’s campus in Changsha, China to prospective developers.
